This one left me scratching my head a bit。 I think it would be a great book for teaching children prepositional phrases, colors, numbers, actions, and emotions。 However, it doesn't have any gripping word play that adds to the overall ambience of the book or story。 It almost just felt like captions for each of the pictures, but the illustrations were cute at least。 This one left me scratching my head a bit。 I think it would be a great book for teaching children prepositional phrases, colors, numbers, actions, and emotions。 However, it doesn't have any gripping word play that adds to the overall ambience of the book or story。 It almost just felt like captions for each of the pictures, but the illustrations were cute at least。 。。。more

Daddy read this book to me for naptime when I was still very very small。 I didn’t get to see the pictures because it was hard to keep my eyes open still。 But it’s my daddy’s favorite book, so I’m sure I will always love it!

In this book, we learn about different types of dogs, both big and small, and dogs of different colors。 We see them doing everyday things that dogs may not normally do, such as drive a car or go skiing。 Throughout the book, we see two dogs in particular interacting, only stopping to speak about hats, which one dog does not seem to like。 This book would do well for beginner readers as it doesn't use large words and has bright colorful images to keep the reader captivated。 It does well in using si In this book, we learn about different types of dogs, both big and small, and dogs of different colors。 We see them doing everyday things that dogs may not normally do, such as drive a car or go skiing。 Throughout the book, we see two dogs in particular interacting, only stopping to speak about hats, which one dog does not seem to like。 This book would do well for beginner readers as it doesn't use large words and has bright colorful images to keep the reader captivated。 It does well in using sight words in a way that doesn't feel as if the book is only about getting children to learn the sight words。 The text looks incredibly similar in both its placement on the pages and the font used to ones used in the Dr。 Suess book franchise。 This book would do well with beginner readers because one it has dogs in it and many children like dogs, and because it does well in using simple language in a way that's not condescending to the young readers。 。。。more

Is an easily comprehended story through its short words and wonderful images。 It begins with one dog then two then several, each having their own unique features and action either together or opposite of each other。 The story takes the dogs through several different places like the dog park, trees, hammocks, and everything imaginable。 It is one of the best, most basic books for teaching children simple concepts of playing, working, and exploring new events and characteristics through different types of dogs。 The author uses vibrant, detailed drawings to depict the different dogs and their actions while keeping the dialogue simple for beginning readers。 The choice of page organization of the images and words gives depth to the story。 For example, on page 18 one dog is up and one dog is down, the page images show the green dog up and yellow dog down, giving another way of learning for readers。 Eastman also uses repetition of “dog” to create a lower reading level but he uses variation of what the dog is doing and movement of the page to enhance the story。 This story reminds me of when I was beginning to read back to my grandma because this was one of the first stories she helped me read aloud。 。。。more

Go,Dog,Go! by P。D Eastman This book, Go,Dog,Go for beginning readers is all about a group of adventurous dogs。 The book displays all kinds of dogs who are different colors and sizes。 The dogs are very interesting because they are in cars, on trees, and exploring in the water。 The dogs are moving all over the place, going in all directions。 One dog always asks " Do you like my hat?" The dogs are constantly playing but at night they go to bed。 The dogs are very playful but they also work。 The dogs Go,Dog,Go! by P。D Eastman This book, Go,Dog,Go for beginning readers is all about a group of adventurous dogs。 The book displays all kinds of dogs who are different colors and sizes。 The dogs are very interesting because they are in cars, on trees, and exploring in the water。 The dogs are moving all over the place, going in all directions。 One dog always asks " Do you like my hat?" The dogs are constantly playing but at night they go to bed。 The dogs are very playful but they also work。 The dogs are constantly going somewhere and it is only till the very end, where you find out where they are going。 The books cover is colorful and has a illustration of a dog, headed somewhere in a car。 Each page has a detailed picture of a dog。 The pictures are detailed yet simple。 The colors are bright and exciting。 Every page is displayed the same, the picture is huge and then the text is at the bottom。 The text is easy to read。 The book is has a lot of repetition。 The book also uses predictable text based on the illustrations。 This book is perfect for beginning readers。 Readers can connect to this because they can relate the dogs to humans。 Kids see their parents driving and working so that is how they can relate to the book。 This book also does a good job displaying that everyone is different。 This can get beginning readers to start realizing that everyone is different and that it should be embraced。 Rate: 5 stars 。。。more

"Go, Dog。 Go!" by P。D。 Eastman, is a children's book about different dogs going about their lives doing different activities。 This books stays true to the title and makes sure the activities the dogs are doing are mobile activities, ones that usually show the dogs moving and interacting with one another in a fun, colorful way。The book is very simplistic and could be seen as boring for some, but I do not believe that books for early readers always need to be super big and bright。 This book does t "Go, Dog。 Go!" by P。D。 Eastman, is a children's book about different dogs going about their lives doing different activities。 This books stays true to the title and makes sure the activities the dogs are doing are mobile activities, ones that usually show the dogs moving and interacting with one another in a fun, colorful way。The book is very simplistic and could be seen as boring for some, but I do not believe that books for early readers always need to be super big and bright。 This book does the job it is intended to do perfectly。 That job being one of transitioning from straight pictures and images, to words along with them, that tell some sort of story。 The other job this book is meant to teach is that of colors。 The use of white space on a majority of the pages makes the colors you are learning that much easier to differentiate from one another and make your eyes get drawn to them easier。 Eastman also makes sure we know when there is movement happening in the images from the different lines he uses。 In his images that are conveying movement, they all have some sort of diagonal lines that indicate and make our brains think of what is happening on the page as movement。 I remember actually reading this book as a child and while I obviously cannot remember what I thought when I first read the book, I do know that it was books like these ones that helped me start developing better reading skills。 I was read to somewhat often as a child and these are the types of books my parents would eventually start making me read them to practice。 These books made reading fun because of the goofiness of the book and just how easy the concept was to grasp even as a kid。 。。。more

This book was one of my favorites when I was a kid。 Its about dogs that go racing and wind up in a big tree that has so many fun things like swings, slides, etc and its just one big party on a tree for dogs。

This book is a fun an easy read for students。 I have enjoyed reading this book since I was a young elementary school student。 I also know that other young elementary school students enjoy this book as well。 So I know that future young elementary school students will enjoy it。 I would use this book in the classroom as a fun silent reading book for the students to read on their own for independent reading/silent reading time。

Go, Dog。 Go! is a great book for children learning their colors。 This book talks goes over multiple colors。 It'll talk about a yellow dog above a green tree, or a blue dog under a red house。 This can help students learn their colors through fun visuals and rhyming。 Go, Dog。 Go! is a great book for children learning their colors。 This book talks goes over multiple colors。 It'll talk about a yellow dog above a green tree, or a blue dog under a red house。 This can help students learn their colors through fun visuals and rhyming。 。。。more

This book is another one about dogs, but this time it addresses the color or the dogs, the specific things they wear like a hat, and there is a big dog party at the end of the book on top of the tree。This could be used in the classroom to help students learn about self expression and not every person is the same as them just like every dog is different to another dog。 Learning difference and self expression is a important skill young kids start to develop。

This book reminded me so much of my childhood。 My dad would read this to me when I was little and I forgot all about it! This brings back good memories!

After reading more times than I can count, it comes to a clear conclusion that this is a certified classic children book。 Yes, this may at times feel like a mirror of a Seuus, but the action and pictures within in the story make this minor hump easier to go over than a semi truck driving through a speed bump。 Excellent concept, excellent action, awesome imagination to have dogs on top of the tree。 10/10。
